2024 Season Dates
The following are the important dates for the 2024 season.
The fall football schedule of game days is released in early August and
is posted to Team Schedules.
February 22 Parent/Guardian Information Meeting
6:30PM @ Hopewell Middle School in the Cafeteria
Parents/Guardians are required to attend one in-person information meeting each season and attendance at either of the kickoff meetings in February counts towards this. There is one final opportunity to attend a meeting on the fitting day.

April 12 Tryout Clinic @ ATA

Please arrive at 4:45pm
April 13 Tryouts @ ATA
9am
Please arrive at 8:45am
Athletes should wear: plain white tee shirt (no logos and not a tank top), navy blue athletic shorts (no Nike Pros or other booty shorts), white-no-show socks, white cheer/athletic shoes, hair in a high pony tail with a plain white bow. The bow is available for purchase during registration.
No jewelry - no rings, no necklaces, no earrings, no bracelets.
Nails should be trimmed with no false tips or embellishments.
April 24 Uniform Fitting
@ Hopewell Middle School in the Cafeteria
Each grade is assigned a specific timeslot:
5pm: 6th Grade Squad
6pm: 7th Grade Squad
7pm: 8th Grade Squad
Reminder that all athletes must purchase the newly redesigned uniform for the 2024 season. All athletes must wear a sports bra and biker shorts to the sizing. There will not be changing rooms available.
This is also the final opportunity to attend the required in-person parent.
Tuesday, May 7 Competition Team Practices Begin
The team will practice May 7, 14, and 21 from 5-6:30pm at ATA.
Attendance at practices is mandatory.
May 26-June 1
GHSA Dead Week, no practices
Tuesday, June 4 Competition Team Begins Summer Practice Schedule
Practices are every Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5pm at ATA.
Attendance at summer practices is mandatory.
Athletes will wear the designated practice attire from the player pack at each practice, along with white-no-show socks and white cheer shoes. Hair must be in a pony tail with a white bow or a CJC practice bow.
Wednesday, June 5 Sideline Summer Practices Begin
Summer practices are every Wednesday.
Attendance at summer practices is mandatory.
Practice is held 3-4:30PM @ ATA.
Athletes will wear the designated practice attire from the player pack at each practice, along with white-no-show socks and white cheer shoes. Hair must be in a pony tail with a white bow or a CJC practice bow.
June 11 Jumps and Motions Camp for all athletes
10am-12pm @ ATA
June 13 and 14 Stunt Camp for Competition Team athletes only
10am-1pm @ ATA
Competition Team Choreography @ ATA
Day 1: Tuesday, June 25, 10am-2 or 3pm

Cambridge High School Mini Cheer Camp
@ Cambridge High School
8th grade CJC athletes work as Junior Coaches alongside JV and Varsity athletes to help run the camp for pre-K to 5th graders.
A new camp just for middle school feeder is coming this year with the dates to be announced. All CJC athletes will be encouraged to attend.
Sideline Squad Choreography @ ATA
Day 1: Monday, July 22, 10am-2pm
Athletes wear black tank top with black shorts. Hair in a high pony tail with CJC practice bow. Trimmed nails with no tips or embellishments. Cheer shoes with no show-white socks. No Jewelry.
Day 2: Tuesday, July 23, 10am-2pm
Athletes wear white tank top with black shorts. Hair in a high pony tail with CJC practice bow. Trimmed nails with no tips or embellishments. Cheer shoes with no show-white socks. No Jewelry.

Cambridge High School Middle School Cheer Clinic

Open to rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders
Wednesday, August 7 School-in-Session Practices Begin
These practices are every Wednesday.
Attendance at all practices is mandatory.
Practice is held 4:30-6:00PM @ Hopewell Middle School in the Gym.

The dance is for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders zoned to attend Cambridge High School.
